New Bengali movies were released on Friday after a one-week break. The film "Peyarar Subash," directed by Nurul Alam Atiq, is on this week's schedule.
"Peyarar Subash," written by Nurul Alam Atiq, explores the issue of male dominance in Bengali marriages. It is interesting to note that the movie's
production started in 2016 and is
currently showing in 27 theaters across the country after eight years of
production.
In the movie, Jaya Ahsan plays the lead role of Peyara, costarring with actors like Tariq Anam Khan, the late Ahmed Rubel, Sushoma Sarkar, and others.
Tragically, Ahmed Rubel died last Wednesday from a heart attack while traveling to the movie's premiere. The film "Peyarar Subash" is devoted to honoring the late actor. Chorki
co-produced it with Alpha-i Studios serving as the producer.
