Two children drowned in Noakhali

Two children named Md. Jisan (2) and FatemaAkhter (4) drowned in pond water at different places in Subarnachar of Noakhali.
This incident took place in the Charbata and Charwapda Unions of the Upazila on Monday, July 15. The family is mourning the death of two children. The deceased Md. Jisan is the son of Md. Murad of Ward No. 1 of CharaminulHaque village of Charwapdar Union. FatemaAkter is the daughter of Md. Russell of Madhyacharbata village of Charbata union. According to local sources, they fell into the pond around noon without the family members noticing. Later, after searching the pond, they were found unconscious. When they were immediately taken to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared the children dead. Charjabbar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Kawsar Alam Bhaiya confirmed the truth of the incident.

and said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving information. As there was no complaint, the body was handed over to the family without post-mortem.
