The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is on a mission to nurture and promote grassroots football across the country.
This ambitious endeavor took a significant step forward with the launch of the 'BFF Football Academy' in Dhaka on September last year, said a press release.
The academy aims to spark interest in football among young children and provide them with mentorship and modern training facilities aligned with contemporary global football standards.
Since its inception, BFF Football Academy in Dhaka has received an overwhelmingly positive response, significantly boosting grassroots football in Bangladesh.
Building on this success, BFF is now set to expand this initiative to three more divisions. The divisions are Rajshahi, Khulna, and Sylhet.
The new academies in these divisions will replicate the successful model established in Dhaka, offering state-of-the-art training facilities and professional mentorship. This expansion reflects BFF's commitment to developing football from the ground up, ensuring that young talents across the country have access to the resources and guidance they need to flourish in the sport. By spreading BFF Football Academy to Rajshahi, Khulna, and Sylhet, Bangladesh Football Federation is not only enhancing the reach.

of grassroots football but also fostering a new generation of skilled footballers who can compete at both national and international levels.

This initiative promises to bring a new era of football development to Bangladesh, cultivating talent and passion for the sport in every corner of the country.

The BFF Football Academy program will start from the first week of August at the district stadiums in the three divisional cities. The interested forty five participants age 8-10 years and 11-14 years can get admission. Like Dhaka, the BFF has fixed a monthly fee of Taka 3,000 for Sylhet, Rajshahi and Khulna division. District Football Association will supervise the admission and practice activities.

In this regards, a press conference was held today (Monday) at conference room of BFF to disclose all the details.

BFF vice president and chairman of the development committee Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik, BFF member Mahidur Rahman Miraj, BFF technical director AKM Saiful Bari Titu, BFF elite academy trainer Peter James Butler and BFF general secretary Imran Hossain Tushar, were among others, also present in the press conference.
