Barrister Turin Afroz has been arrested from her residence in the capital’s Uttara area.
The information was confirmed by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), on Monday night.
He said that police from Uttara West Police Station detained her from her house in connection with an attempted murder case filed against her.
