
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus left Bangkok for Dhaka on Friday night after attending the sixth BIMSTEC Summit in the Thai capital.
He departed from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 8:45pm local time on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told to media.
Thai Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, Jiraporn Sindhuprai, saw him off at the airport.
The chief adviser arrived in Bangkok on Thursday and attended multiple events, including bilateral meetings with several heads of government from neighbouring countries.
