BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said they want to form a government which will have the representation of all political parties of the country.
"We intend to form such a government in the days ahead with all political parties so that people of all strata of the society make their opinions," he said joining virtually as the chief guest with divisional training workshops of Barisal and Rangpur divisions on Sunday (December 8) afternoon from London.
The central BNP organized the training workshops titled "31 points for changing the state structure and involvement of people".
Addressing the training workshops, the BNP Acting Chairman said: "Nothing is possible for BNP alone. We need to form government with those political parties with whom we had struggled. There are many people in the society who are not directly involved in politics, but want to work for the country. They may belong to various professions. An upper chamber has been allocated for them in the 31 points. Their opinions will be able to play a significant role in restructuring the country."
Referring to the previous government, Tarique Rahman said, "People hate them and chased them away from the country. All must remember this example. Everyone must achieve the trust of people from their respective positions. This is our capital. I hope everybody will do the tasks for maintaining people's trust. Please refrain from the activities which will destroy the trust of people. You encourage your colleagues so that they refrain from doing such activities."
Earlier, the BNP Acting Chairman replied to the queries of the leaders of Barisal and Rangpur on the 31 points. At that time, he called upon them to take the 31 points to the people at grassroots level in the villages.
