London-based broadcast journalist and fiction writer Bulbul Hasan, former president of the Bangladesh Debate Federation and Dhaka University Debating Society, has released his first biofiction, Antahin 'Bitarkajatra'.
On Saturday (February 22) the publication festival of Antahin Bitarkajatra: A Draft of an Autobiography was held at the Biswa Sahitya Kendra auditorium. The event was moderated by journalist and former debater Mahfuz Mishu.
Bulbul Hasan has transformed his extensive experience in debate into literature through this book. He believes that 'Antahin Bitarkajatra' will help teenagers and young people understand the fundamental goals and philosophy of debate. The book also highlights the intellectual and mental growth of a teenager through the practice of debate.
This biofiction revolves around a teenager from a district town in Bangladesh who immerses himself in debate competitions. Through this journey, he develops rational thinking, faces personal and social challenges, and learns to seek truth through debate. The book explores themes of rationality, critical thinking, self-development, and the impact of society, culture, and education on an adolescent's life.
'Antahin Bitarkajatra' is a source of inspiration for debate enthusiasts, blending the author's personal experiences with creative storytelling.
