Mostafizur Rahman Bhuiyan Dipu has been elected unopposed as the President of the Narayanganj District Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sohel Sarwar and Mohammad Abu Jafar have also been elected as Vice Presidents.
They were elected during the bearer elections held on Wednesday (February 19), with Chief Election Commissioner Prabir Shikdar announcing the results. On February 18, the Election Commission had already declared 19 candidates elected without opposition for the 2025-2027 term of the Chamber’s board of directors.

Associate Group: Md. Morshed Sarwar, Sohel Akhtar, Khandakar Saiful Islam, Ashiqur Rahman, Alhaj Mohammad Zakaria Wahid, Mustafa Emranul Haque.
Trade Group: Bikash Chandra Saha.
During a board meeting on February 18, Chairman Prabir Kumar Saha confirmed the final list of candidates. The official election date was originally set for February 22, but with no opposing candidates, the final list was declared earlier.
The Chamber’s election board held discussions with the elected directors and conducted elections for the President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President positions on February 19 at noon.
