On World Valentine’s Day, members of the Yamaha Riders Club and Sarker Motors shared love and care with the neglected elderly parents at Nirapad BriddhAshram (Safe Old Age Home) in Kishoreganj, Nilphamari.
To mark the occasion on Friday (February 14), the club members handed over essential daily necessities and food items to the elderly residents. Beyond just giving gifts, they personally cooked and served meals, spending meaningful time with them.
The club members expressed their commitment to continuing such humanitarian efforts in the future, ensuring that neglected and underprivileged individuals receive love and care. They highlighted that Valentine’s Day should extend beyond romantic relationships to represent social and humanitarian responsibility. They also urged the wealthy to come forward and contribute to such noble causes.
Yamaha Riders Club Advisor and owner of Sarker Motors, Manoj Sarkar, stated, 'We regularly carry out various humanitarian activities. As part of this commitment, we initiated this effort to share love with parents who have been neglected and abandoned by their children on Valentine’s Day.'
Present at the event were Yamaha Riders Club Moderator Soheb Ahmed Sojib, Mehedi Hasan Jibon, and members Asaduzzaman Akash, Fazle Rabbi Shanto, Firoz Ahmed, Md. Razzak, Prithul, along with other club members.
