A total of 15 lakh taka in financial assistance has been provided to the families of three people who lost their lives in a road accident in Nilphamari.
On Sunday (February 9) afternoon, the cheques were handed over to the affected families at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Jyoti Bikash Chandra.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance & Administration) Mohammad Mohshin, Civil Surgeon Dr. Hasibur Rahman, and BRTA Nilphamari Circle Assistant Director S.M. Mahbubur Rahman were present at the event. The recipients of the financial assistance are Mamun Ali, Jahanur Islam, and Rabeya Begum.
According to BRTA Nilphamari Circle Assistant Director S.M. Mahbubur Rahman, each family received a cheque of 5 lakh taka, totaling 15 lakh taka. The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) provided this financial support.
