The month-long Punak Trade and Industry Fair, organized by the Police Women’s Welfare Association (Punak) in Nilphamari, has officially begun. On Sunday (February 2), Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman inaugurated the fair at Boro Maath by cutting a ribbon and releasing balloons.
The event was attended by Police Superintendent Morshed Alam, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ashraful Haque, District BNP President A.K.M. Alamgir Sarkar, General Secretary Jahurul Alam, District Jamaat Secretary Antazul Islam, and the proprietor of Maa Decorator & Event Management, Anisur Rahman Anis, among others.
Police Superintendent Morshed Alam stated that the fair features a variety of products, including furniture and clothing, along with amusement rides for entertainment. A total of 50 stalls have been set up, with Maa Decorator & Event Management overseeing the event.
