The biennial election of 2024-2026 of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) will be held on Tuesday.
Subrata Kumar Dey, joint secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Chairman REHAB Election Board, told UNB on Monday that all preparations have been taken to hold the election in a free and fair manner.
The election will be held at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB), Farmgate in the capital.
A total of 15 voting booths have been set up.
According to Rehab Election Board 2024, polling will continue uninterrupted from 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday at the venue.
A total of 86 candidates are contesting for 29 director posts in Dhaka.
There are 7 candidates against three director posts in Chattogram.
Chairman of the REHAB Election Board Subrata also said that the voting process will be recorded and a transparent box will be used .
